One baby item we ended up using almost every night was a baby sleeper.
Before becoming parents, we did not realize how commonly sleepers are used in Japan. Many Japanese parents use them instead of thick blankets, especially for younger babies.
Because babies move around so much while sleeping, blankets often come off during the night. Sleepers helped us worry less about our baby getting cold while sleeping.
We especially liked soft cotton and gauze sleepers because they felt light, breathable, and comfortable across different seasons.
In Japan, many baby brands sell simple and cozy sleepers, and we found them surprisingly useful for everyday life at home and while traveling.
As our baby grew, putting on the sleeper also became part of our nighttime routine. Small moments like these started to feel very comforting and special to us.
Of course, every family sleeps differently, but for us, sleepers became one of the baby items we were most grateful to have 🇯🇵
